2015 Chinese sturgeon release tracking operation

According to data collected by researchers and volunteers, as of the afternoon of April 19th, the signal reception status of 61 Chinese sturgeons with sonar markers is as follows:

From 14:10 pm on April 12th to 11:00 pm on April 14th, a total of 52 Chinese sturgeon signals were received at Yidu Point. Yidu is about 20 kilometers away from the release point.

From 00:58 on April 14th to 13:00 on April 16th, a total of 50 Chinese sturgeon signals were received at Shashi Point. Shashi is approximately 140 kilometers away from the release point.

Jianli Point received a total of 46 signals from Chinese sturgeon from 8:22 on April 15th to 21:12 on April 17th. Jianli is 289 kilometers away from the release point.

From 2:00 pm on April 16th to 10:00 pm on April 17th, a total of 8 Chinese sturgeon signals were received at Honghu point. Honghu is approximately 433 kilometers away from the discharge point.

At Wuhan point, from 5am on April 18th to 4am on April 19th, a total of 10 Chinese sturgeon signals were received. Hanyang is approximately 600 kilometers away from the discharge point.

It is expected that the Chinese sturgeon will arrive in Ezhou as early as April 19th, which is about 694 kilometers away from the release point.
